- Third-Party Consumer Reports: We may obtain underwriting and claims history, loss history reports, and investigative reports from consumer reporting agencies and insurance support organizations to verify information, evaluate risk, rate coverage, prevent fraud, and administer policies and claims.
- Policy Preferences & Insurance History: We maintain records of your coverage selections and prior insurance history to prepare quotes, recommend or issue appropriate coverage, administer your policy, and support renewals.
- Billing & Payment Information: We may collect billing details, payment status, bank account or payment card data, premium transaction information, and related account records to process payments, issue refunds, manage billing, and administer your policy.
- Customer Support & Communications: When you contact us, we may collect your name, contact information, policy or claim details, and the content of your communication (including inbound and outbound email correspondence and recorded customer service calls) to respond to inquiries, provide service, resolve issues, and maintain appropriate business records.

- Information Provided Directly by You: We collect personal data when you interact with us to request an insurance quote, submit a formal application for coverage, make a payment, service your account, or report a claim.

Loggerhead does not use or share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Federal law does not provide an opt‑out right for these types of disclosures when they are necessary to conduct insurance operations or comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Loggerhead does not sell your personal information to third parties. We only disclose your information as permitted by law for the following specific purposes:
- Authorized Service Providers: We share necessary data with trusted partners who perform essential functions on our behalf, such as claims adjusters, property inspectors, payment processors, IT service providers, legal counsel, auditors, and actuarial or research firms. - Insurance Operations: We disclose information to agents, reinsurers, and insurance support organizations as required to underwrite your policy, administer your coverage, and manage claims efficiently.
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance: We may provide information to governmental authorities, regulators, or law enforcement in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other mandatory legal processes.
- Business Continuity & Transitions: In the event of a corporate change, such as a sale, transfer of business assets, or reorganization, your information may be shared with the successor entity to ensure the uninterrupted management and service of your policy.
- Mobile Information Privacy: Loggerhead will not sell, rent, share, or transfer customer mobile data, including mobile phone numbers and text messaging opt-in or consent records, to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be shared only with service providers that support Loggerhead’s text messaging program and related services, such as message delivery, platform administration, customer service, troubleshooting, compliance support, and opt-out management. These providers are contractually required to use the information solely to provide services on Loggerhead’s behalf.
Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Below are the rights and choices available to you regarding our use and disclosure of your personal information, as well as the methods by which you may review or request corrections to certain information we maintain. These rights are provided in accordance with applicable insurance privacy laws and are subject to legal and regulatory limitations.
- Access & Correction: You have the right to know what personal information we maintain about you in our records and files, and to request that we correct, delete, or amend any recorded information that you believe to be inaccurate. To make such a request, please submit a written request containing your name, policy number, and a description of the information in question to our Privacy & Compliance address below. We will inform you of the nature and substance of the information or provide our written determination regarding your correction request within thirty (30) business days of receiving your written request. We may require verification of your identity and may be limited in our ability to modify records required for legal, regulatory, or policy-servicing purposes.
- Consumer Reporting Agencies and Loss History Reports: We may obtain consumer reports and loss history reports from consumer reporting agencies and insurance support organizations in connection with underwriting, rating, policy administration, and claims handling. If an adverse action is taken based in whole or in part on information in a consumer report, you have the right to contact the consumer reporting agency within sixty (60) days to obtain a free copy of your report and dispute the accuracy or completeness of any information contained in it:
